Feature and Follow Friday #4

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The rules include writing a blog post in response to the Question of the Week and then following the hosts, the two featured bloggers, and anyone else in the original list you like. The goal is to gain new friends and followers, so comment on every blog post you come across. For more specific rules, check out their much more substantial posts!

Question of the Week: What was your favorite book (or books) of 2014? - suggested via Alison Can Read

Answer: While this question is crazy difficult, I'm going to choose Cinder by Marissa Meyer. The book focused on futuristic Beijing and a cyborg Cinderella, so as an Asian Studies minor and Creative Writing major from college I soaked this up. The biggest competition for my favorite would be between Cinder and Divergent. I love Four. And Uriah. I love them all, except for the ones I don't because you know, they were evil.

Which book was your favorite?

    1. I think Scarlet might have been my favorite simply because Scarlet and Wolf are such versatile and awkward characters, but the entire series is great! And I cannot wait for Fairest!!

    1. Oh no! I recommend pushing through it, because in terms of action it does have the least. It's also the one with the most romantic tension. Once you get to Allegiant, it returns to more of the feel that surrounded Divergent.
